Shangpliang appointed as Adviser of Education department

BJP spokesperson and former Mawsynram legislator Himalaya M Shangpliang has been appointed as the Adviser of the Education department.

This was informed by the Commissioner & Secretary in-charge Education Pravin Bakshi in a notification issued on Friday.

“The Governor of Meghalaya is pleased to appoint Shri Himalaya M Shangpliang, Ex-MLA as Adviser to the Government of Meghalaya, Education Department with perk and facilities under Category “A”,” the notification said.
