Shillong Lajong vs Sporting Club Bengaluru next I-League clash

Shillong Lajong next encounter is at home against Sporting Club Bengaluru tomorrow at 4:30 pm in SSA Stadium, Shillong. 

After a hard fought victory against Real Kashmir in their last match, Lajong will look to carry on their winning form against a newly promoted side Sporting Club Bengaluru who so far have been struggling in the league and are placed at the bottom of the points table. 

In the pre-match press conference held earlier today, Lajong head coach Jose Carlos Rodriguez Hevia expressed that after winning their last match against Real Kashmir, the team will look to carry on the confidence and momentum from the last match going into tomorrow’s match. They will try to take advantage of the situation their opponents are currently in and also while playing at their fortress with the support of the Faithfuls. But despite their opponents current form, Coach Hevia said that they will not underestimate their opponent and will push the team to give their 100% and collect all 3 points tomorrow. 

Lajong are currently in 7^th position with 9 points from 7 matches and with a win tomorrow they can push further up the table with only 7 points separating them from Churchill Brothers who are currently top of the table with 16 points.

This match will prove to be an exciting clash between both the teams as Lajong will look to move further up the table and Sporting Club Bengaluru will look to avoid being in the relegation zone.

This will also be Lajong last home match of January before playing four consecutive away matches.
