Shillong Literary Festival ends with a note that team work triumphs

The much awaited Fourth Edition of Shillong Literary Festival 2024 ends with a note that Team Work Triumphs.

Department of Tourism, Government of Meghalaya organises successful events because they believe in forming a team of members who is a master in their respective fields. There are many professionals involved in making the event a picture perfect and an experience to take home.

Meghalayan Age curated the literary sessions while The Circus Entertainment conceptualised, designed & executed the show along with Various artists thus giving a breath-taking moment.

An elaborate display of cuisine and local fruit wine and locally made products added charm to the festival.

Booklovers also went home happy as they could find the books of their favourite authors available at book stalls at the festival. Booklovers not only bought books of their choice but they also got signed by the authors of their choice as they could meet renowned authors like Shobhaa De , Vikram Seth, Jerry Pinto , Kynpham S Nongkynrih to name a few.

INTACH – Indian National Trust for Art, Meghalaya Chapter had a stall also Children & Youth’s Corner by Sauramandala Foundation.

Meghalaya of late have witnessed many intellectual events unnder the leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Conrad K Sangma & Bah Paul Lyngdoh , Hon’ble Minister of Tourism.

Commissioner & Secretary Dr.Vijay Kumar D, & Director Cyril.V.D.Diengdoh ,of department of Tourism, Government of Meghalaya left no stone unturned to make the Fourth Edition of Shillong Literary Festival a grand success.
