Shiwat to revive financial position of JHADC

JOWAI: Thombor Shiwat who is the Chief Executive Member of the Jaiñtia Hills Autonomous District Council (JHADC) has decided to hold the finance department by himself so that he will be able to revive the financial position of the Council which is under severe financial crisis and it is going to be a mammoth task for him.

Notably Shiwat on the day of assumption of power for the second term has already expressed concern over the financial position of the Council to the extend that even getting salary for staff of the council was doubtful.
