Shullai condoles demise of former KHADC chief

BJP legislator from South Shillong Sanbor Shullai on Friday condoled the sudden demise of former KHADC Chief and sitting Nongthymmai MDC Latiplang Kharkongor.

In his condolence message, Shullai said, “It greatly pains me to convey my sincere feeling and great sorrow at the sudden demise of my loving friend (Late) Bah Latiplang Kharkongor. Fondly known as Bah Heh, holding 4th consecutive terms and sitting MDC (Member Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council) representing Nongthymmai Constituency he was a philosopher, a guide and a protector.”

” He was a man full of dynamism, frank and candid in nature and a superb orator full of enthusiasm and courageous person calling a spade a spade. He will be remembered for his impeccable service and recall his humanitarian qualities and faith in secularism and pluralistic in the Society. He was a father and guardian to the poor, the needy and the weaker section.

Bah Heh, God knew and saw your sufferings. He then decided to end the tears, the pain and other things that drove you around the bend. It’s true death leaves a heartache that can never ever heal, but love leaves a golden memory that nobody can steal. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn’t go alone for part of us went with you the day God call you home,” Shullai said.
