Shullai takes up grievances of residents with Centre
BJP South Shillong legislator, Sanbor Shullai on Thursday sought the intervention of the Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh into the various grievances faced by the residents of Shillong cantonment area.
In his memorandum submitted to Singh during a meeting in New Delhi, Shullai has requested the ministry for early implementation of the building bye laws at par with adjoining municipal areas.
He also sought funds for PHE water tank upgradation of Goenka Hospital and Shillong Cantonment School CBSE medium.
Shullai also urged the Union Defence Minister to help provide NOC for various roads in Shillong town which would help to ease traffic congestion in town.
The Union Defence Minister has assured the MLA to look into the matter as he lauded Shullai for repeatedly addressing the public issues.
