Signboards erected to prevent parking on bridges in East Jaintia Hills

To ensure commuter safety, the district administration in East Jaintia Hills has erected signboards prohibiting parking on bridges in the Lumshnong-Malidor area on the National Highway 6.

This action was prompted by frequent landslides and mudslides, as parked vehicles on the bridges pose a potential risk.
