Six Nigerian wanted for Mumbai murder case arrested by Meghalaya Police

The Meghalaya Police arrested six Nigerian Nationals at Lad Umsaw under Umiam PS, Ri-Bhoi wanted for a murder case in Mumbai.

The six Nigerian who were attempting to escape to Bangladesh were travelling on tourist sumo ML 10 B 9779.

The Meghalaya Police swung into action on a tipoff from Mumbai Police that the six Nigerian Nationals, who are wanted in a murder case at Mumbai and were entering Meghalaya with the intention to flee to Bangladesh.

The six (6) Nigerian Nationals are wanted in connection with Waliv Police Station CR Case Number 481/2022 under sections 302/364/201/323/143/147/149 Indian Penal Code.

It is learnt that the following Nigerian Nationals after committing the offence at Mumbai were intending to flee India to Bangladesh through Dawki India.

They have been identified as Eze Christopher Obasi (43) s S/o Mr Eze, Permanent Address: No. 43, Adoki Street, Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria, Present address: Nallasupara, Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Ahukanna Chinonso (46) S/o (L) Wilfred Ahukanna, Permanent Address: No. 6 Oxho Drive Wilma Oshodi, Nigeria. Present address: Naigon, Vashai East, Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Obi Francis Osita (36) S/o (L) Osita, Permanent Address: Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria. Present address: Naigon, Vashai East, Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Okoro Kelvin Chidozie (29) S/o (L) Okoro, Permanent address: Igonda, Lagos, Nigeria. Present Address: Nallasupara, Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Emmanuel Agbeyi (37) S/o (L) Agbeyi, permanent address: Ewhen Community Delta State, Nigeria. Present Address: Surya Apartment 202, Mira Bhainda Road, Mumbai, Maharashtra.
