St Anthony’s college emerged Champions of the NEHU Inter College Cricket Tournament

SHILLONG: The Final Match of the NEHU Inter College Cricket (Men) Tournament 2018-19 is played between St. Anthony’s Colleges versus Shillong College on  March 2 at the NEHU Permanent Campus Shillong.

Batting first St. Anthony’s College put a score of 138 runs on board in 20 overs and gives a target of 139 run to the Shillong College. Chasing the score Shillong College able to score 136 runs in 20 overs after losing 3 wickets.

St. Anthony’s College won the final match by 3 runs. Rahul Shah of St. Anthony’s College declared as Man of the Final Match where as Kishan Lyngdoh of Shillong College declared as Man of the Tournament.

The tournament ended with a closing ceremony, where Asst. Director of Sports, NEHU N Das is present and gave away the prizes to the Winner & Runner up team.
