Suspected IED recovered from NPP office in Shillong

A suspected IED bomb was recovered from the office of the National People’s Party (NPP) at Lower Lachumiere on Monday. 

The proscribed Hynniewtrep National Liberation Council (HNLC) has claimed responsibility stating that a blue bag found at the entrance to the NPP office contained an IED bomb.

On receiving information, the bomb squad immediately rush to the place and investigation is on.
