Synjuk waheh chnong congratulate MDA govt for shifting PWD North Division to Shangpung

The Synjuk Waheh Chnong Laskein Block Unit lauded the Meghalaya democratic Alliance Government for its bold decision in shifting the headquarter of North Jowai Division PWD roads from Jowai to Shangpung Village.

The synjuk express its appreciation to the Honourable Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma, his cabinet and especially Comingone Ymbon and N Sungoh, the legislators from the block who facilitated the process.

This decision will benefit almost all the villages who are under Laskein C&RD block in the following ways, said D Shadap finance secretary synjuk waheh chong Laskein Block.

Shadap said, most of the villages falling under the North Jowai Division P.W.D roads are from the two legislative constituencies of Laskien C&RD Block. Hence it will ease down the distance and also the transportation charges from the said office.

“It will minimize the traffic, crowd and will make the above said office more efficient in performing their duties. The assignments and projects will be more practical comparing to the latter performance because of the distance and the village specific oriented goals,” Shadap added.

The Synjuk hope that the government is successful effort in their aspiration to construct Mini Secretariats in some of the Districts of Meghalaya.
