Tableland replaced Kharkongor as DC Mawkyrwat

In minor bureaucratic reshuffling, Tableland Lyngwa IAS has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of South West Khasi Hills District in place of present incumbent C Kharkongor, IAS.

According to a notification issued on 3 January this year vide notification No.PER.36/2011/Pt.X/22 Tableland Lyngwa, IAS, (SCS: 2010) Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya,
Community & Rural Development, Prisons Departments etc., and Secretary, Meghalaya Human Rights Commission is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, South West Khasi Hills District, Mawkyrwat.

In another notification no. PER.36/2011/Pt.X/22-A- in pursuance to the approval conveyed by the Election Commission of India vide letter No.434/01/MEGH/2022/NES-II dated 29.12.2022, C. Kharkongor, IAS, (SCS: 2010) Deputy Commissioner, South West Khasi Hills District, Mawkyrwat is transferred and posted as Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya, Community & Rural Development, Prisons, Home (Passport), Home (CD & HG) and Textiles Departments
