Take permission before free distribution to poor people:DC

Whereas, it has come to the notice of this office that some NGOs, Companies etc of this District are distributing essential commodities, food stuffs, etc to the people without the knowledge of the District Administration.

In view of the prevailing pandemic situation where the Government has issued restriction advisories and protocols to all movement of vehicles carrying goods and essential materials coming inside the District and the State.

Distribution without following the advisories and protocols may pose threat to the citizens without observing the advisories and protocols set by the government. All NGOs, companies, etc are hereby directed to stop henceforth.

Hence in order to check the possibility of spreading the COVID-19 in the District, all NGOs, companies, etc are hereby directed to obtain prior permission from this office before distributing any essential commodities, food stuffs, etc within the District.
