Tellme, I Love You and two other prime suspects for murdering missing cabbies arrested in Meghalaya
The twin murder cases of two young tourist cabbies in Jaintia Hills region have been cracked by Meghalaya Police with the arrest of four dreaded murderers.
Police said that the four are namely I Love You Talang, Ramesh Dkhar, Tellme alias Bor Pyrtuh and Sampher Ksoo.
With the arrest of this suspect, the police recovered the body of Damehipaia Papeng dumped in the jungle nearby Jowai Bypass road located in Mihmyntdu, village far few kilometre from Jowai.
The deceased body was recovered by the investigating team from the crime scene, on being led by an accused person who was detained for a different case.
Damehipaia Papeng a tourist taxi driver by profession and a permanent resident of Khonshnong Village and presently residing in Mih Myntdu after his marriage to Nidawanroi Rymbai of Mihmyntdu Village was missing since August 10, last.
Papeng left his home at around 8:00 am in the morning with his Taxi vehicle bearing No. ML04 D 2009 for plying passengers from Jowai to Lad-Rymbai.
As per the letter of the Synjuk Ki Waheh Shnong looksi Saphai Circle, the relatives went to search for him and on reaching Lumshnong Toll Gate on August 11, last at around 4:00 Pm. On request to the official of the Lumshnong Toll Gate, it is seen in the CCTV installed there at the Toll Gate, the vehicle has crossed the Toll Gate at around 2:08 Pm on 10/08/2022.
Reliable sources informed that I Love You may also involve in the recent murder of Fullmoon Kharsahnoh, another tourist taxi driver on August 16.
Fullmoon Kharsahnoh was driving a tourist vehicle Maruti Swift Desire made bearing registration number ML04D 1113 was found missing with his vehicle on August 16 afternoon. A Complaint was lodged at Ummulong Beat House as his mobile phone was also unreachable.
Fullmoon got booking from unidentified miscreant(s) at Mihmyntdu for dropping at Khliehriat.
Fullmoon, a resident of Larnai village was untraceable for several hours till the recovery of his body at Mynkre Village on the way to Amrit Cement in East Jaintia Hills on same day late evening.
Police suspected that the miscreant(s) tied both his hands and feet slit his throat with a sharp object and dumped him to bleed to death. The post mortem was carried out in Civil Hospital Khliehriat.
Police are now on the hunt to locate the buyers of these two vehicle in Assam
