Ten handwash facilities installed in Shillong

In bid to fight against COVID-19 by washing of hands, ten Handwash facilities were installed by the Shillong Municipal Board (SMB) for public use in various locations.

The handwash is installed is to impress on the need to wash hands to prevent the spread of #COVID_19. “Washing your hands for at least 20 seconds is crucial. Stay informed, stay safe,” is the message from SMB.

The facility has been installed in Police Bazaar, Jail Road, Polo, Laitumkhrah, Laban, Motphran, DC office, SMB office, Director UA and Lachumiere.

However, if soaps is provided instead of liquid handwash then it would not serve the purpose as the same soaps would be used by several persons and any germs will be pass on.
