This Tura- based Startup Provides Personalized Gift Hamper Services For Special Occasions
There is an old saying that goes something like this: “A gift is a gift is a gift, but the meaning behind the gift is what makes the gift great.” This is especially true when it comes to gifts that have an emotional connection to someone else.
In many cases, the meaning behind the gift is what makes the gift special and memorable. This is why gifts with a personal touch are often more appreciated than gifts that are simply given.
To make your gifts warm and personal, Laura Momin from Tura started her startup, Blossom Tura. In this short interview, Laura talks about her small business and how she plans to work harder and contribute her part to the benefits of the society.
Please introduce yourself to the readers
Hi everyone. This is Laura Momin from Tura, Meghalaya. I’m the founder of Blossom Tura and am currently running a gift hamper service.
Tell us about your business.
Blossom Tura is a service where we put together the perfect little gift for you and your loved ones on all occasions. You can send in your requests for customization of Hampers and we will arrange it for you. We deliver anywhere in Tura and even ship them to other states.
What was your driving force of inspiration in starting Blossom Tura?
In Tura, we get limited choices and options for gifting. The products and their varieties are limited and we don’t get everything under one roof, be it local products or branded products. So, I thought of making the gifting process easier, more beneficial, and less time-consuming for the people.
With our gift hamper services, we let you choose many products under one roof including all local and branded products. We have many choices and options to put in the hamper and make it a special one for every occasion.
What is the main goal of your startup?
My main goal is to promote local products, create employment for the unemployed, and also focus on women’s employment, thereby improving their livelihood by offering them a means of livelihood.
Any wow moment you would like to share.
Getting an order of 100 hampers from our Honorable CM Sir and completing it with limited resources within 3 days was a wow moment for me and my employees.
What are your future plans?
To open up at least one physical store in Tura and try to expand the branch to Shillong. I also want to play a role in reducing unemployment by providing job opportunities to the talented women of our society.
Please share a message for the future entrepreneurs and our readers
