Three NGO’s leaders & MIPRL president filed papers

JOWAI: Former President of the Jaiñtia Students Union central body Rikut N. Parien filed his nomination paper this afternoon on Congress ticket to lead the people of Saphai Constituency where sitting MDC Chanky Lyngdoh bailed himself out of the fight.

Heraldson Dkhar the president of Meghalaya Indigenous People Rights Livelihood filed his paper from Shiliang Myntang against RudayooTang the sitting MDC from NPP.

J Treilang Suchiang of  UDP filed from Shangpung Constituency against NPP MDC Kilometer Lyttan and his: Standby candidate Treiminot Suchiang also filed his paper.

Ri Jaintia Youth Federation President R.K. Ram Rymbai filed as Independent candidate from Jowai South and Pil Khyriem also filed from the same constituency as independent candidate.

Shemhok Garod MDC of NPP filed from Nangbah where UDP candidate Lakhon Biam is all out to topple him.

Former HANM Jaiñtia Hills Secretary Damonmi Dkhar of UDP filed from Nartiang Umladang against former chief executive member and NPP MDC Thombor Shiwat.

Wandame Suchiang of INC filed from Shilliang Myntang while NPP standby candidate Eimichwa Ren filed from Barato Mukroh and Night Star Pariat standby candidate of NPP filed from Mukhla Wahiajer.
