Toll free number to report illegal coal mining and transportation

The Assistant Inspector General of Police (A), Meghalaya, has informed the general public that a centralized Helpline Number has been set up, and any credible complaints/ information with regard to activities of illegal mining and transportation of coal in the State of Meghalaya, the same may be shared through this Toll Free Number: 1800-345-3846.

The toll free number will be opened round the clock and the identity of the informer will be kept confidential.
