Topcem management offers apology for employee misconduct during public hearing

Meghalaya Cement Limited (Topcem) management apologizes for the offensive language used by two employees during the August 24, 2023, public hearing protest, while the police were dispersing protesters as per administrative instructions. The said employees have been suspended.

Topcem management extends its apologies to the local community for their employees’ actions.

“We assure at Large that the Meghalaya Cement Limited (Topcem) is committed to promote peace, harmony and conducive environment for the Employees and nearby villagers associated with our Company and also assure that no such untoward incident will happen in future,” stated the company.
