Traffic arragements for counting of votes in Khliehriat

In view of the counting of votes in connection with the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly Election 2023 at DC Office, East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat, the office of Superintendent of Police, Khliehriat has prepared the following traffic arrangements only on the 2nd March, 2023 w.e.f 7:00 Am till counting is over as shown as under:

No Entry Points:

• From NH-6 towards DC Office Premises, Khliehriat.

• From Presbyterian Hr. Sec School Junction to Sanmala (NH-6).

• From Old DC Junction to DC Office Premises, Khliehriat.

• From Community Hall, Khliehriat West to NH-06.

• From SBI Junction/Lad Block to NH-06

Parking Places:

All vehicles coming from Rymbai side will be parked from Old DC Office Junction and all along the route from Rymbai Side.

All vehicles coming from Deinchynrum side will be diverted from Khliehriat East Junction and parked at Khliehriat East Playground. Parking No. 3 & Parking No. 4:

All vehicles coming from Moowakhu side will be diverted from Lad Sutnga Jnc and again to be diverted from Shi Kilo towards Open space at Shikilo (Parking No. 3) and Khliehriat West Playground (Parking No. 4).

All vehicles coming from Sutnga side will be diverted from Shi Kilo towards Open space at Shikilo (Parking No. 3) and Khliehriat West Playground (Parking No. 4).

No Parking of vehicles will be allowed along the National Highway (NH-06) from Lad Sutnga up to Deinchynrum Playground Junction.

The public are requested to corporate with the Traffic Staff to ensure the smooth flow of traffic before and after the counting of votes.
