Tremors in Jowai, Meghalaya as 5.1 magnitude earthquake hits Myanmar
An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale struck Myanmar, with tremors also felt in Jowai, Meghalaya, and other northeastern regions on Monday night.
According to the National Centre for Seismology, the tremors were felt at 11:01 PM.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 20 km, with its epicenter located at latitude 24.40 North and longitude 94.77 East in Myanmar.
