Trinity Saioo USTM chairman bagged Meghalaya’s Governor Award for Excellence

Governor of Meghalaya Satya Pal Malik handed out the Governor’s Award for Excellence in Public Services to two distinguished citizens of the State at Raj Bhavan for their outstanding contribution to Meghalaya on Friday.

The first awardee is Padmashree Trinity Saioo for developing rural women-owned sustainable organic farming to grow the Lakadong variety of turmeric.

Another awarded is Mahbubul Hoque, Chancellor of the University of Science & Technology Meghalaya and Chairman, ERDF.
