Trucks transporting 30 MT allow plying through Umiam Bridge

In continuation to the department’s press release pertaining to goods laden vehicles plying over the Umiam Concrete bridge, the Deputy Commissioner, East Jaintia Hills District on Friday informed that Truck Drivers/Transporters/ Drivers of East Jaintia Hills District that regulated movement of vehicles at night up to 30MT (one vehicle at a time) is permitted with due intimation to Deputy Commissioner, Ribhoi District/ Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District.
