Tura MP reviews implementation of centrally sponsored schemes in SGH

Congress MP from Tura Saleng A Sangma on Tuesday reviewed implementation of the centrally sponsored schemes.

He was chairing the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) meeting at New Circuit House Conference Hall Baghmara in South Garo Hills District.

Sangma reviewed the implementation and operations of various schemes under DRDA, Health, Education, Water Resources, Agri- Horti Department, MePDCL, DCIC, ICDS, MSRLS, PWD Roads & NH, PHE etc among others.

The allocation of funds under each scheme, issues and shortcomings are also addressed during the meeting. 

Sangma asked the Government machinery to ensure that all the schemes are reached to the intended beneficiaries and they get easy access to every scheme and avail the benefits.
