Two Bangladeshi expertise in infiltrating fellow nationals arrested in Meghalaya
Acting on credible input, a joint team of Umkiang PP, Ratacherra CP and BSF under SI. S. Buam apprehended two Bangladeshi along unfenced international border near Pyrtakuna village on Friday.
Police said that the two are mastermind actively aiding and abetting the illegal infiltration of Bangladeshi to India in past couple of months through Kuliang – Ratacherra axis.
However due to the timely action of the joint team, the two Bangladeshi who were part of a large group were apprehended while others escaped to Bangladesh.

The two are namely Misba Uddin (31 yrs), S/o- (L). Muhebur Rahman and Badrul Alom (30 yrs) S/o- Foiaj Uddin. Both are from Darponagar village, PS-Kanaighat, District-Sylhet, Bangladesh
It is to be mentioned that, one (1) of the accused Misba Uddin is wanted in several other cases. A case under appropriate section of laws is being registered and investigation is in progress.
