UDP releases list of two candidates

SHILLONG: The United Democratic Party (UDP) has announced its seventh list of two candidates for the upcoming elections to the KHADC and JHADC scheduled to be held on February 27.

Informing this here on Friday, UDP General Secretary Jemino Mawthoh said the list was approved by the State Election Committee of the party.

The candidates include Amos Dkhar who will be contesting from Musniang Rngad constituency in East Jaiñtia Hills District and Jambor War from Mawthadraishan constituency in West Khasi Hills District, he said.

The party have so far announced 43 candidates.
