Unidentified female body recovered in East Jaintia Hills

The Superintendent of Police, East Jaintia Hills District has informed the recovery of one unidentified female dead body aged about 30-35 years at a place called Um-im Umtyra village inside a drain by the roadside of NH-06 about 4-KM away from Umtyra on Tuesday.

After the inquest was conducted over the dead body and on completion of all the formalities the body was shifted to Khliehriat Civil Hospital for conducting Post Mortem Examination and kept at Khliehriat Civil Hospital Morgue Room.

Description of the Deceased: One Unknown/ Unidentified & Unclaimed Female Dead body- 30-35 yrs (approx.), Height- 4 ft (approx), Hair – Black

The deceased is medium built wearing apparel: White colour Frock with blue and brown colour prints, White colour rosary with wooden cross, Silver colour earring with red stone and orange colour hair clip.
