Victory for TNT Sputnik CC and NFU CC in the Super Division T20 tourney

SHILLONG: TNT Sputnik CC and NFU CC continue their winning runs in the Shillong League Super Division T20 tournament organized by the Shillong Cricket Association at Polo cricket ground.

In the first match, Malki won the toss against TNT Sputnik CC and they elected to bat first. Malki’s batsmen managed to put a humble score of 60/10 on the board in 14.3 overs. Barem Rynjah was the top scorer making 16 runs off 24 balls whereas Arbind Singh  and Pawan Rai bowlers of Sputnik took 2 wkts each from 2.3 overs and 2 overs respectively.

TNT Sputnik chased the total with a score of 65/5 in 13 overs. Supriyo Chanda scored 33 runs off 20 balls and Aman Kumar 15 runs off 23 balls. 2 wkts for Bittu Das and 1 wkt for Arjun Lyngdoh for Malki. TNT Sputnik won by 5 wkts.

In the 2nd Match, the toss was won by NFU and they elected to bat first. The batsmen of NFU put a fighting total of 125/6 from 20 overs.  Raj Biswa made 23 runs off 13 balls and Purojit Mondal 22 runs of 30 balls. Aryan Bora and Manish Sangma took 2wkts a piece for Sunrisers.

In reply to the total set by NFU, Sunrisers managed to score 82/10 in 18 overs. Aryan Bora made 20 runs off 25 balls and Solu Momin 15 runs off 15 balls. Purojit Mondal and Akash Choudhary took 2 wkts each and Raj Bishwa took 1 wkt for NFU. NFU won the match by 43 runs.
