Vivek Syiem appointed as new East Khasi Hills SP

Assistant Inspector General of Police Vivek Syiem has been appointed as the new Superintendent of Police (SP) of East Khasi Hills District.

This was informed in a notification issued by Secretary in-charge Home (Police) Cyril VD Diengdoh on Thursday.

Dr Raghvendra Kumar MG, Deputy Inspector General of Police (WR), Tura is transferred and posted as the Deputy Inspector General of Police, CID, Shillong against the existing vacancy.

The following IPS officers are promoted to officiate in the Deputy Inspector General of Police of the Super Time Scale in the Level 13A in the Pay Matrix with effect from January 1, 2025: Jerry FK Marak and Jubi G Momin.

Jerry FK Marak, Commandant, 2^nd MLP Bn, Goeragre, West Garo Hills, Tura is posted as the Deputy Inspectr General of Police (WR), Tura vice Dr Raghavendra Kumar MG, transferred.

Jubi G Momin, Superintendent of Police, Anti-Infiltration Directorate, Shillong is posted as the Deputy Inspector General of Police (Administration), Shillong against the existing vacancy.

The following IPS officers are promoted to officiate in the selection grade of the senior scale in the level 13 in the Pay Matrix with effect from January 1, 2025: Vivekananda Singh and Sylvester Nongtnger.

Vivekananda Singh is allowed to continue as the Superintendent of Police, Ri Bhoi, Nongpoh and re-designate him as the senior SP.

Sylvester Nongtnger, SP East Khasi Hills is transferred and posted as senior SP, TAP, Shillong against the existing vacancy.

Jagpal Singh Dhanoa is allowed to continue as the SP, ANTF.

Shailendra Bamaniya is allowed to continue as SP, South Garo Hills.

Six IPS officers are promoted to officiate in the senior time scale of the senior scale in the level 11 in the Pay Matrix with effect from January 1. They are Naman Kumar, Dewansh Pandey, Ishan Gupta, Ashish, Dheeraj Yadav and Hari Prasanth MR.

Naman Kumar, Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO), Amlarem is posted as the Additional Superintendent of Police, West Khasi Hills District, Nongstoin against the existing vacancy.

Ishan Gupta, SDPO, Dadenggre is posted as the Additional Superintendent of Police, West Jaintia Hillls, Jowai vice VDS Rymbai, promoted.

Ashish, SDPO, Sadar, Shillong is posted as the Additional SP, East Khasi Hills vice GW Lyngdoh, promoted.

Dheeraj Yadav, Assistant Commandant, 6^th MLP Bn, Umran is posted as the Additional SP, SF-10, Shillong vice SS Dkhar, promoted.

Hari Prasanth MR, Assistant Commandant, 2^nd MLP Bn, Goeragre, West Garo Hills, Tura, isposted as Additional SP, CBPS (Eastern Range), Shillong vice Dangsan Khyriem, promoted.

Maxwell B Syiem, SP, Eastern West Khasi Hills is transferred and posted as SP, Anti-Infiltration Directorate, Shillong vice Jubi G Momin, promoted.

Goldenbert D Kharwanlang, SP, South West Khasi Hills is transferred and posted as SP, Anti-Terror Squad against the existing vacancy.

Billy Graham Marak, SP of Anti-Infiltration Directorate, Tura is transferred and posted as the Commandant, 2^nd MLP Bn, West Garo hills vice Jerry FK Marak, promoted.

Rupam R Marak, Commandant of 4^th MLP Bn, Sohpian is transferred and posted as the SP, Anti-Infiltration Directorate, Tura.

Banraplang Jyrwa, Additional SP, Ri Bhoi is allowed to hold charge posting and is transferred and posted as SP, South West Khasi Hills.

Geffry Waemhok Lyngdoh, Additional SP is transferred and posted as Assistant Inspector General of Police (L&O).

Herbert Pyniaid Kharkongor, Deputy Commandant, 4 MLP Bn is transferred and posted as SP, SCRB against the existing vacancy.

Shabbir Sayeed Dkhar, Additional SP, SF-10 is transferred and posted as Administrative Officer, Directorate of Prosecution, against the existing vacancy.

VD Sangahiwot Rymbai, Additional SP, West Jaintia Hills is transferred and posted as the Commandant, 4^th MLP Bn, Sohpian.

Dangsan Khyriem, Additional SP, CBPS, Eastern Range is transferred and posted as SP, Eastern West Khasi Hills.
