Vivek Syiem back as SP City, Shillong for the fourth time

A day after the transfer of Deputy Commissioners of various districts in Meghalaya, the MDA 2.0 Government effected the transfer of Superintendent of Police of various districts in the state and in process create a record for one IPS officer by transferring and posting as SP (City) for the fourth time.

Dr Raghavendra Kumar M.G, IPS(RR 2010), Superintendent of Police, East Khasi Hills, Shillong, is transferred and posted as the Superintendent of Police, CID, Shillong vice Shri Dara Aswaghosh, IPS transferred.

Sylvester Nongtnger, IPS(SPS 2012), Superintendent of Police, F&ES, Shillong is transferred and posted as the Superintendent of Police, East Khasi Hills, Shillong vice Dr Raghavendra Kumar M.G, IPS, transferred.

Siddharth Kumar Ambedkar, IPS(RR 2014), Superintendent of Police, South Garo Hills, Baghmara is transferred and posted as the Superintendent of Police, East Garo Hills, Williamnagar vice Shri Abraham T. Sangma, MPS transferred.

Vivek Syiem, IPS(SPS 2015), Assistant Inspector General of Police (L&O), Shillong is transferred and posted as the Superintendent of Police (City), Shillong vice Shri Ringrang T.G. Momin, MPS transferred.

On January 9, this year Vivek Syiem who was SP City was transferred appointed as Assistant Inspector General (Law and order).

Vivek Syiem who was Anti-Infiltration SP was transferred and posted as SP (City), Shillong on 20 June, 2020.

Vivek Syiem who was SP City Shillong and was transferred as SP West Jaintia Hills district on October, 2017.

Dara Aswaghosh, IPS(RR 2018), Superintendent of Police, CID, Shillong is transferred and posted as the Superintendent of Police, Traffic, East Khasi Hills, Shillong against the existing vacancy.

Darwin M. Sangma, MPS, Superintendent of Police, West Khasi Hills, Nongstoin is transferred and posted as the Superintendent of Police, F&ES, Shillong vice Sylvester Nongtnger, IPS.

Abraham T. Sangma, MPS, Superintendent of Police, East Garo Hills, Williamnagar is transferred and posted as the Superintendent of Police, South Garo Hills, Baghmara vice Shri Siddharth Kumar Ambedkar, IPS transferred.

Chemphang Syrti, MPS, Commandant, 3rd MLP Bn, Khlichtyrshi, West Jaintia Hills is transferred and posted as the Superintendent of Police, West Jaintia Hills, Jowai vice Shri Bikram D. Marak, MPS transferred.

Ringrang T G. Momin, MPS, Superintendent of Police(City), Shillong is transferred and posted as the Superintendent of Police, F&ES, Tura against the existing vacancy.

Bikram D. Marak, MPS, Superintendent of Police, West Jaintia Hills, Jowai is transferred and posted as the Superintendent of Police, West Khasi Hills, Nongstoin vice Shri Darwin M. Sangma, MPS transferred.
