Vivek Syiem transferred out of East Khasi Hills SP (City) posting for the 5th time

Due to the ensuing election to Lok Sabha in a few months time, Indian Police Service Officer Vivek Syiem is transferred out from the present posting of East Khasi Hills SP (City) for the fifth time and the recent transfer was one year back.

Vivek Syiem, IPS(SPS 2015) who was holding the office of Assistant Inspector General of Police (L&O), Shillong was transferred and posted as the Superintendent of Police (City), Shillong on March 22, 2023 vice Ringrang T.G. Momin, MPS transferred.

Again due to Assembly Election, on January 9, 2023 Vivek Syiem who was SP City was transferred as Assistant Inspector General (Law and order).

Vivek Syiem who was Anti-Infiltration SP was transferred and posted as SP (City), Shillong on 20 June, 2020.

Vivek Syiem who was SP City Shillong and was transferred as SP West Jaintia Hills district on October, 2017.

According to notification issued on Tuesday, Vivek Syiem, IPS(SPS 2015), Superintendent of Police(City), Shillong is transferred and posted as the Superintendent of Police, CID, Meghalaya, Shillong vice Shri Pankaj Kumar Rasgania, IPS transferred.

Along with Syiem, Sylvester Nongtnger, IPS(SPS 2012) who is Superintendent of Police, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong is transferred and posted as the Commandant, 6th MLP Bn, Umran, vice Shri Rituraj Ravi, IPS, transferred.

Rituraj Ravi, IPS(RR 2013), Commandant, 6th MLP Bn, Umran is transferred and posted as the Superintendent of Police, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong vice Shri Sylvester Nongtnger, IPS, transferred.

Dr Dara Aswaghosh, IPS(RR 2018), Commandant, 2nd MLP Bn, Goeragre, West Garo Hills, Tura is transferred and posted as the Superintendent of Police, West Garo Hills District, Tura vice Shri Abraham T. Sangma, MPS transferred.

Pankaj Kumar Rasgania, IPS(RR 2020), Superintendent of Police, CID, Meghalaya, Shillong is transferred and posted as the Superintendent of Police(City), Shillong vice Shri Vivek Syiem, IPS transferred.

Abraham T Sangma, MPS, Superintendent of Police, West Garo Hills District, Tura is transferred and posted as the Commandant, 2nd MLP Bn, West Garo Hills, Tura vice Dr Dara Aswaghosh, IPS, transferred.

Banteilang Kharjana, MPS, Deputy Commandant, 5th MLP Bn, Samanda, East Garo Hills District is transferred and posted as the Additional Superintendent of Police, South West Khasi Hills District, Mawkyrwat against the exiting vacancy.

Spearsing Paslein, MPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Hqr), Ri-Bhoi District, Nongpoh is transferred and posted as the Deputy Superintendent of Police (Hqr), East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat against the existing vacancy, with effect from the date of taking over charge and until further orders.
