VPP demands payment of 13 month salary of JHADC staffs

The Voice of People’s Party (VPP) on Tuesday met the Chairman of the JHADC to demand the immediate payment of the 13 months pending salary of the JHADC staffs.

The VPP also met the Executive Member of the Council, Phasmon Dkhar and handed a petition regarding the same.

The Organising Secretary of the party, DL Rymbai also warned that if the salary is not released the party will have to look for other alternative.

He further informed that about three staffs of the Council have passed away due to certain ailments and being unable to get their salary added more to their sufferings.

Phasmon Dkhar clarified that the state government had recently informed that the Council share will be release soon and he expected that the salary of the staffs will be paid within this month.
