War term HNLC’s allegation baseless

Kynsai War on Friday refuted the allegations made by the banned Hynniewtrep National Liberation Council (HNLC) that he along with a surrendered cadre were collecting money in the name of the outfit.

“I was shock by the allegations made by the HNLC general secretary Sainkupar Nongtraw on social media/facebook that I and Herman Pakyntein (an SHNLC cadre) were demanding money from non-tribals in the name of the outfit,” War said in a statement.

“These allegations are false and baseless because Herman Pakyntein is not even my friend,” he said.

According to War, such allegations are being made just to tarnish  his image. He reiterated that he had never indulged in demanding money from anybody.
