The table tennis events at the 6th Meghalaya Games 2025 in Jowai have concluded with dazzling performances, none more so than from Diva Tang. As one of the standout athletes, Diva Tang from West Jaintia Hills has not only showcased her exceptional skills but also demonstrated an unwavering determination to dominate the sport.
In the Mixed Doubles category, Diva Tang, alongside her partner Eraphel Dkhar, clinched the gold medal for West Jaintia Hills. Their synergy on the table was impeccable, leaving their opponents little room to maneuver.
Diva Tang’s prowess was further highlighted in the Women’s Doubles category, where she teamed up with Medaihunlang Swer. The dynamic duo secured another gold medal for West Jaintia Hills, with Diva Tang’s precision and strategic play being pivotal to their success.

Shabong’s gold medal in the Men’s Singles category, coupled with his success in the Men’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles events, has showcased his exceptional talent and sportsmanship.
In the Mixed Doubles category, Rituraj Shabong, partnering with Merryzone Wanniang, secured the silver medal for East Khasi Hills. In the Men’s Doubles category, Shabong teamed up with Banekhupar Sancley to clinch the gold medal, further solidifying his status as a top performer.
Other notable achievements in the men’s categories include Chesan Marak from West Garo Hills, who won the silver medal in the Men’s Singles category, and Paban Kanta Kanwar from East Khasi Hills, who earned the bronze. In the Men’s Doubles, Gilbert Sohtun and Joel Roy Nongbri from East Khasi Hills secured the silver medal, while Paban Kanta Kanwar and Labeeb Faisal Ahmed also from East Khasi Hills, took home the bronze.
