West Jaintia Hills: Rice released for NFSA and Non-NFSA

The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), West Jaintia Hills has informed that rice under NFSA (AAY, PHH) and Non- NFSA for the month of June, 2023 has been released to all FP Shop dealers within the district.

Under Antyodaya Anna Yojna (AAY) quota of rice will be distributed at the scale of 35 kgs per AAY FI card free of cost for both rural and urban areas.

For Priority Household (PHH) quota of rice at the scale of 5kgs per head free of cost for both rural and urban areas.

Under Non-NFSA quota of rice at the scale of 7.215 kg per household at the rate fixed by the vigilance committee not to exceed Rs.14 per kg for both rural and urban areas.

The Deputy Commissioner (supply) has directed all the Fair Price shops duly recommended by the competent authority to collect their permits from the office of the Deputy Commissioner (Supply) and to complete the distribution within 10^th July, 2023 by using the online transaction e-Pos online mode in their respective centre without fail.
