Woodland WK Hospital to admit patients from Tuesday
In what could be termed as a good news for the people of Jaintia Hills region amidst this COVID 19 pandemic in time of sickness and ill health, the management of the Woodland WK Hospital has informed that the indoor patients department of the hospital will be operational from Tuesday.
According to an official communique, the management informed that the hospital will admit patients requiring prolonged medical treatment.
The hospital is located at Sabahmuswang, West Jaintia Hills beside the NH 6 and the location is centrally located for people of West Jaintia Hills and East Jaintia Hills.
Dr W Kharshiing added, “The hospital has 108 number of beds to serves the citizens of the East and West Jaintia Hills District and the Doctors available at the hospital are the Medicine, Gynecologist, Paediatrician, Surgery, and ENT.”
The hospital is highly equipped Laboratory with latest technology.
Out-Patient Department (OPD) service are available from Monday to Saturday.
Notably, the Hospital was inaugurated on September 15th, 2020 by Meghalaya Health Minister Alexander Hek.
